I heard this saying and believe it is so true. Sometimes you rally around and interest, a hobby or a sport and when that interest wanes, your friends from that interest group will also wane. But other people will keep coming back into your like. These are the people that notice you are going to be in San Diego for business and say, "Hey, can we get together and catch up." These are ones you keep for life. These are the folks that really charge your emotional batteries when you get together for a cup of coffee or a few rolled tacos on a sunny taco stand patio.
