. The Hollywood Bowl is an outstanding venue. The Carmina Burana is joyous, humorous and just wonderful. The chorus and vocal accompaniaments to the LA Philharmonic performance was world class. The full moon and perfect temperature was a bonus on this evening. The crowd was there to enjoy and connect with the performers and everyone was connected to the music.
I went on my own and sat next to another Goldstar ticket holder. We were both glad we had decided to come even if we came alone. They just didn't appreciate what they were missing because they lose interest with the word "classical". So my new friend Catherine or Katheryn...I hope we will both keep going and meet again.
PS take the bus from LAZoo or other transit location! Worth the $5
